CORBEAU SEAT and BOLT IN bracket .. anyone else having problems ??

ours sits WAY too high ... even without the bracket ... wearing a helmet and you'll never pass tech ... head above halo bar !! we are trying to mount a one piece ... glass bucket ... has 1 inch tall feet on it ... about to cut them to make it fit ....

 

I have heard of issues using the 4th gen brackets (higher) ... I have the 3rd gen brackets in my '82 and '02 ...

here's where we are at so far .... the feet on the bottom of the seat rub the floor ... so if we hack out the halo and redo it 1 inch higher and closer to the noggin .. we might pass tech with short guys like me .... guess our 6-4 and 6-2 teammates are SOL !!!

thanks corbeau for ABSOLUTELY NO TECH SUPPORT AND NO INSTRUCTIONS and no warning that this seat doesn't fit like your street ones do !!! but it was fun calling long distance only to argue with you and having to call back like 4 times to get a RMA #..which I can't use since the bracket was cut and hacked to TRY and make fit , and now the seat is all scratched up since it's been in the car like 80 times now ...... THANKS !!! I'll never spend another DIME WITH YOU ... and as promised ... here's the post to let EVERYONE KNOW !!
