(1984 Standard) Plastic Triangle Corner of Window. Molding Piece? (What's the name?)

I have a 1984 305 standard Camaro and am in the process of restoring it. I have been searching for days and still haven't found a definitive answer, but I need to know the name of that plastic triangle molding piece in the front corners of the driver/passenger windows. I need to replace that, as well as the weather stripping along the door. The closest thing I've come to finding is this...

http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/pr...cket-Used.html

Is that the piece I'm looking for and am just too dumb to realize it? That is the only site I can find that remotely had what I was needing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this is the wrong thread to post this question, I apologize.

Follow up question, is there a good place to find a parts list for reference so I can just look it up via picture/diagram, then order the part on a website?

Hmmm..good question! I've only heard them called "Window triangles". The ones you linked to don't look right. At least my mirrors don't bolt up to them.

The ones you linked to are the ones you need. If you read the description he is showing 93-02 for reference only. The ones you want don't have a spot to mount a mirror. I am just curious why you want to change them? Usually the only part that goes bad is the rubber weatherstrip on the edge and that can be found at a bunch of places including 1A auto who is a sponsor here.

I took mine out, removed the old weatherstrip, gave them a good cleaning, gave them a coat of SEM trim black, put the new weatherstrip on and now they are as good as new.

Confuzed1, ha. Yeah, that's the only term I could come up with. I've never taken mine apart, so I'm not sure if my mirrors bolt up to them or not. From the outside view, I can't see how they would...but what do I know?

82tarecaro, you're probably right. The only reason I was going to replace them was due to the wind going into the cab fairly easy and I knew it was coming from that point. I'll just get the stripping you suggested and see if that seals the gap.You guys are awesome! Thanks for the super quick response! I love this forum!

Yeah, probably are the right ones....because the link was for 82-92. But you'd think the place would at least put up a proper picture of the part.

To the OP, they're pretty easy to remove as I recall. Like 2 10mm nuts once the door panel is off.
