can anyone give me some info on the wiring of a b&m shifter I am installing in my 1982 z28.I have a new mega shifter and it gives you the instructions on the wiring for the neutral safety switch and the backup lights but it does not tell you what wire goes where on each relay.I have the yellow and purple wires ready to hook to the b&m relay whitch is the bottom one that has 2 terminals,what the directions fail to tell you is which wire goes on which terminal,does it matter?Help!!!!!!!

 

The purple and yellow go to the provided relay....the diagram shows what pins on the relay to hit.
I believe the directions give an option to not even use that relay, in which case two combo-colored wires get cut and left alone. I don't believe it matters on the microswitch's......I think the right color has to go to the switch but it could go on either tab, then the other correct color to the other tab......
I don't think they mention when to use the side or back tab because it doesn't matter.
