Indicator for PRNDD21
Greetings from Jacksonville, Florida. This is my first post on the forum, and I must say I owe a great deal of thanks to everyone who contributes here. My son and I have been working on our GTA for about 3 years now, and it because of the knowledge at this forum that we were finally able to put a tag on her.
The most recent repair was last night. I replaced the passenger window lift motor in 30 minutes. The weekend before it was window sweeps for both doors (1.5 hours), In the past 6 months, new tires, T-top seals re-done (no leaks), brake hoses, coolant hoses (w/TPI bypass), water pump, polished wheel lips, and 2 years before that alternator, battery, headlight motor rebuilds, on and on.
Up next is the headliner, and a more recent failure, the trip meter/odometer. Speedometer is working, but the trip and odometer have failed. Seems to have occurred after a trip reset when I filled up the tank. (more searching the forum for repair tips!)
On to my question. Is there suppose to be an indicator that points to what you selected for PRNDD21? Ours does not have one. And if anyone can point me to a solution to my trip/odometer problem, I would greatly appreciate it!
By the way, we have a 1989 Flame Red GTA 5.7 w/T-Tops, analog gauges.

Re: Indicator for PRNDD21
Only the later models have it -- I believe starting in 1990 or so. My '91 definitely has one.

Re: Indicator for PRNDD21
Thank you for the replies. I took the center console apart, and did not see any linkage the would suggest anything would point to PRNDD21
