How to remove heater / AC controls?
How to remove heater / AC controls?
How can I remove the heater / AC controls? These are interchangeable between all thirdgens right?
Whenever I've been to the junkyard, I can remove everything except for this part of it.. (View image)..
But I don't know how to remove it or how I would put it back on. I would rather not cut and splice those wires.

Re: How to remove heater / AC controls?
Not all heater/ac controls are interchangeable. I believe the later models had high speed relay for the blower fan.
I used the Firebirds Parts CD not the Camaro one but I'm showing heater control for 83-89, 90-92. I'm too lazy to dig out the Camaro one also.
Looks like the #4 part you are questioning is the Air Valc Actr Vac Harness part 14101552 (from 91-92 F Body with C60 [Air Conditioning]). Looks like it has various vac connections and possibly ties back into the other harness for the controls.

Re: How to remove heater / AC controls?
Two small push nuts hold the harness in place on the long studs. On the outside of the studs underneath are two small screw/bolts. BTW, at some point the following link will be useful:
