cost to replace carpet
Hey my convertible is in need of a new carpet. Just wonder what I should expect to pay to have oit professionally done. Thanks

Lots of variables are involved.
As an example, Hawks sells a complete carpet kit for 259.00. A shop will charge you more/less depending on what their cost is from whatever supplier they use.
Labor is probably going to be 2 to 4 hours at shop rate.

If you're asking about how much it would cost to have it installed, I'd say you'll be looking somewhere around $300-500 considering that most shops get around $100/hr for labor. Putting it in isn't hard, and if you can work a wrench, a screwdriver and a razor blade, you can handle it.

Just do it yourself. Buy a premolded full carpet set from Hawks or Ecklers, 3M glue, sound deadner, and some razor blades. I'm sure almost anybody would be willing to give you info on this. Or just do a simple search on here.
