New to me IROC - Power Window Switches
Hi Everyone, I just purchased an 87 IROC. This one to be exact https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cama...-z28-sold.html. It had obviously been sitting for awhile. I'm going over everything and fixing all of the little things before putting it on the road.
I took the console apart today and there must've been a pound of acorns shells in it. Something was definitely living in there. A few of the wires were chewed up but not a big deal. My question is, should the window switches light up? The only bulb that I see is the one that lights up the shifter indicator.
Thanks for your help. I'll be spending a whole lot of time on here.

Only the shift panel will light (not a gear indicator, only the gear choices).

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I thinking but I didn't want to miss anything while I was in there. I had an 86 Trans Am about 15 years ago, but the windows and door locks were manual.
I popped an LED in the shifter panel. I can check that off of the list. The instrument cluster is next.
Thanks again!
