refogger inop help please.

I have a customers 87 firebird that has an inoperative redogger. I can't seem to locate the rear dogger relay or the connector for it. According to all data the connector should be near the passenger front speaker. However I can't locate it, I even removed the dash pad to see into the area easier and still no luck. Anybody have any idea. It's a base model 2.8 w/o A/C if that matter. thanks in advance.

Re: refogger inop help please.

The relay is mounted inside the panel behind the "map pocket" on the passenger side of the dash (where the glovebox would normally be in any other car). Start by removing the passenger side lower dash trim, you may have easy access to it from there.

Have you checked the fuse? That would be the easiest fix...the one in my '02 used to act up occasionally, took the fuse out and put it back in, and it's been fine for years now.
