OK so I swapped out my 88 center console a while back for the 82 style and now I wanna get everything hooked up. I know some of the wiring doesn't match up properly but if I could be pointed in the right direction as to which wires I can splice? So here's what I have...

This is my wiring...the only wires that seem to be free are the orange and brown here with a connector. What are they "supposed" to plug in to?



This is my current shifter plate that I am trying to get the lights hooked up. It has the connectors with wires I can splice if needed...



I also have another shifter plate with a different setup where the lights and the cig lighter share wiring with a different connector. I figure which ever is easier to set up I can use.
