Hi all i have a 92 Z28 and i replaced the speedo to the 145 and i wanted to know is there a fuse that the speedo works off of. All of the other gauges work but the speedo just reads 35mph like it's stuck there. So if there is a fuse can someone tell me where it is and which one it is thanks.

 

I have speedo problems myself but haven't swapped anything yet. Still goes through all 4 gears but no speedometer, and before it completely stopped working it was intermittent, when it worked my RPM's would go about 250 RPM less for the same speed.

 

Ermm if your old one was working and the new one isn't sounds like a broken speedo. There are all kinds of posts in the electrical section on speedo's though, so search in that section.

Have you driven the car? Sometimes they get a weird reading when sitting and reset after you drive it for a short time.
