Dash Removal Bolts
Ok I have searched this forum and web and have not found simple images of where bolts/how to remove the dash. I have found the dash pad and the gauge but I am talking the dash.
I have the dash pad, center console, carpet seats all completely out. It looks like the speaker brackets on top, 4 bolts (2 each side) by the doors will pull the dash out once I lower the steering column?
I am trying to replace the heater core and since I have everything out, if it is only 8 bolts and i can pull it out (or lay it over most of the way) and make it much easier to pull the core I figure I might as well and will allow me to verify the HVAC lines and clean up things while I am in there.
so is it as easy and pulling bolts and it slides off?

Re: Dash Removal Bolts
That helps. I think confirmed what I thought about the A and B bolt locations.
But look at the metal support along the bottom. Other then the A and B bolt locations do I need to remove the bolts along the bottom in the metal frame or does that bar come out when I remove the 4x B bolts?
Also the A bolts on top. it looks like I can leave them mounted to the dash itself just remove the top side to the firewall.
And again this is all for easier heater core access. I guess I can just remove the top and dies and loosen it up enough to pull it back a few inches for easier access.

Re: Dash Removal Bolts
The rundown:
4 bolts, one on either end of dash 4x6 speakers
1-2 bolts in middle support of dash between the defroster ducts
1 bolt in either lower corner
2 nuts holding steering column up
Remove lower hush panels, if equipped, remove panel under steering column and drop down steering column, remove dash pad, remove console (and/or radio pod), unplug C207 by heater module and steering column switches. Remove bolts/screws above and pull dash away from firewall.
THERE IS NO NEED TO REMOVE THE LOWER DASH SUPPORT FROM THE DASH PANEL. Unless you need it to build a replacement, custom, dash for racing or other purposes.
