Steering wheel question

I've got a few questions regarding this steering wheel.

1. What years did these come?
2. Is there a difference between base and T/A?
3. Is it any smaller or larger in dia. compared to this wheel?

Re: Steering wheel question

1) Pretty sure that steering wheel was 85-87.

2) It's a non-leather wheel for all Firebirid or TA,..... adding the leather option to the build sheet those years added the leather wheel shown by 'mantaguy'.

3) Pretty sure they are the same diameter.

IIRC in addition to the 2 wheels shown above, there was also an 82-84 steering wheel, an 88-89 steering wheel, & that 'special' GTA radio controled steering wheel, each of these steering wheels also had non-leather and leather versions. I'm almost certain they are all the same diameter.

Re: Steering wheel question

Thanks guys. I want to get rid of the air bag and I think these wheels look much better then the 88-89 wheels. So the leather option extends the soft material along the cross bars?

Re: Steering wheel question

LastGTA - I'm not sure if it's Plug-&-Play,... but I've got a pretty good 85-87 leather Steering Wheel if your interested.

mantaguy - Is that your ride,... with a 82-84 dash pad ??
