Firebird console lid in a Camaro?

My console lid has seen far better days, to say the least. I Like the look of the Firebird lid as its far sleeker than the square Camaro lid. I was curious if anyone has used a Firebird lid on a Camaro, and what is needed to do the swap. Thanks!

Would only work with the whole firebird console. Then I'm sure it won't fit right against the dash. Change the dash you need the gauges and wiring, and the snowball effect continues. LOL Bottom line is no.

I think that the Firebird console may be thinner around the seat area too. It may be possible (console swap) though as I've seen people use the Firebird pod as a go-between the Camaro dash and a 4th Gen console. At that point the 4th Gen console might be a better option anyways.
