I got lucky and got a mint Camaro pad for 60 bucks about 6 months ago. Met the seller at a local car show. Someone at the show told him they would give him 20 for it. He didn't have the pad with him at the time. I told him if it was as nice as he said it was i would give him 40. I thought he was blowing smoke when I didn't here from him. A few weeks go by and I get a call. He actually drove it to my house. I gave him an extra 20 and told him I would take as many as he can get. That price is totally ridiculous. I know the birds are a little more refined but man. I can't really justify paying too much for a used dash pad especially knowing how they are prone to cracking.

 

The only thing that's rare is the fact that it's out of a 85 and is not CRACKED

 

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous, but there will always be clueless sellers on parts regardless of what they are. I recently saw a set of tan front seat-belts (used), just the front ones, and the seller was asking $250.

Thankful for junkyards.

 

If it was redyed they did a poor job of it. The color appears faded and uneven.
