I authored a write up in August about this exact same thing but for a Camaro. Lots of information out there, of the top of my head I know that the member that got me interested in speed hut gauges did a write up for installing aftermarket gauges in a firebird. These boards have been around for 15-20 years, lots of info you just need to sift through them and try different terms and different sub boards like electronics.
