Engine: 305 LG4, 305 LB9 TPI
Transmission: 700R4 in both
third gen steering wheel in 4th gen
Will a 1987 trans am steering wheel fit in a 1994 4th gen trans am?

In theory a 4th gen wheel should fit on a 3rd gen, so I assume the opposite is also true.

Should fit with no problems. You'll have to cut/remove the airbag ring on the '94 to get the wheel to fit on the steering shaft, but that should be it.
