Does anyone know where to buy the little instrument panel bulb sockets? I'm trying to get all the original stuff working in this 91 I picked up last week. I pulled the tach board to solder in some new resistors and noticed that one of the previous owners must have pulled and tossed the bulbs and sockets for some of the dummy lights. Shift light, low oil indicator etc... The local parts stores only carry the bulbs and gave me a strange look when I asked about the bulb sockets.

They are the sockets,with the bulbs

 

so socket usually means what the bulb plugs into. the dash bulb is that whole unit with the plastic, it doesnt come out. its not a 194 in a socket. unless you mean the part of the cluster that receives the bulb with the dreadful circuit plastic stuff.

 

the bulb sockets twist out of the cluster, with the bulbs in them, yes they are 194 bulbs IN twist out sockets, if he wants the sockets, then the link posted is the correct one, with or without the bulbs doesnt matter

 

How many do you need?Ill sell them to you cheaper than that guy

Thanks, I was able to get some locally. I thought the ebay guy was a little pricey too.

 

Your local parts store should carry them in the Dorman/HELP parts section.
