Someone cut me off while I was resetting my trip odometer after pulling out of the gas station and I had to slam on the brakes resulting in me breaking the plastic trip reset button. My cluster lens has always had a crack also so now im getting anxious to correct these issues.

Can this button be replaced with parts from another cluster without changing the odometer?

 

I don't think the actual button is broken but the mechanism on the back side of the speedometer.

I don't know if the Firebird trip odometer is like a Camaro. The fix should be similar.
