Hey guys. I'm actually at lowes right now trying to get the right size socket for my 88 Trans Am steering wheel nut. I figured it would be a 19mm but tried that today and it didn't work. Don't want to waste my money on the wrong size! Thanks.

 

Might be too late but 19mm is too small. I just used a 13/16" on mine.
(My kit doesn't include a 20mm but 21mm is a little loose.)

 

Yup. 13/16 is the size.

 

Thanks guys! It was too late but Lowe's isn't far, so no big deal. I'm glad I waited. Almost bought a 20mm.

 

Have an old 4way lug wrench?
13/16" is a very common lug nut size....as long as the stud this nut is mounted on isn't too long.

Isn't 13/16 the spark plug socket ?

 

Newer are 5/8", but yeah...thats 13/16" too.
