1986 steering column

Hi,
Would a 1986 steering column fit a 1990 iroc with A/T?

Transmission: 700-R-4

Axle/Gears: 2.73 open

physically, it fits , although there may be wiring diffrences.

I put a steering colum from an 82 camaro into my 88. Reused all my original switches and wiring, and the parking lock doesnt work. Other than that it is just like factory.
