Anyone carry tires/wheels inside their 3rd gen before?
Making a little road trip tonight to pick up tires for my truck b/c I sold the wheels off of it last night. I am gonna pick up four 285/35/22 tires from summit racing, & cant drive my truck bc I have no whels.
Anyone think I can fit 4 29" tall tires & inside of my Camaro?

I carry a full size in the trunk but you have to angle it just right or it hits the hatch. Or, Two on the back seat and two on the passenger seat?

Take the passenger seat out!
It's only 4 bolts and would take less than 1/2 hr, otherwise it'll be really tight!

Fold the back seat down, remove pass front seat..
I had to haul two, 275/60-15's to the tire shop in my camaro with a roll cage and that's the only way I could get them to fit.. Removed the pass side seat and stacked them right there.

I had 8 Camaro sized wheels/tires in my 84 decades ago... I was taking the junk tires on beater rims to swap to some better tires on for winter driving. IIRC one got to ride on the passenger seat.
Good luck with the 29s.

I put 4 of the 245/50/16 in the car.. it was tight but all fit. the front seat had to lean a bit forward.. basically 3 in the back and one in the front

Re: Anyone carry tires/wheels inside their 3rd gen before?
Kinda a long story, but I ended up not taking the IROC to get the tires.
Short version of the story - you can see from my sig I have a buttload of vehicles including a truck that would easily bring the tires home. I have been on a wheel/tire selling kick lately. Sold the wheels off my truck Wednesday night with no other wheels to put back on it, so it is sitting in hover mode on my lift. Also sold the wheels and tires off my IROC on Monday, it is also sitting in my shop in hover mode. I ordered spacers to install my spare CCW wheels on the iroc for the meantime, they were scheduled to be delivered yesterday at noon so I thought, OK I'm good to go I'll take the iroc without the rear seats and try and fit them since there is no way they would fit in either of my corvettes. Got home from work yesterday and the spacers still had not shown up by 5 pm so I was forced to borrow my moms car to make the trip and get the tires. I am very glad I did b/c I do not think there is anyway I could have fit all four in my IROC, a lot bigger in person than I was expecting.
