Drivers Side Seat Back Adjustment

Engine: 5.7 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Drivers Side Seat Back Adjustment
The drivers side seat back adjustment will not lock in place.
Best i can get it to stay is about a back slant.
Anyone else experienced this?
Any help on how to repair the locking mechanism.
I really dont want to replace the seat with one from a junk yard.
