No a/c defroster?

I want to rig up a switch or something that will prevent the a/c compressor from coming on when the defroster is on. Where would be the best place to tap in? Sometimes I just want fresh air to blow instead of the a/c kicking on. Especially in the winter with the heat on. Kinda strange. All of my vehicles do it. This one will be the guinea pig, lol!

Yes, all vehicles do it to provide dry air to the defroster.
If you really need to do this I would think the easiest place would be at the pressure sensor switch on the rail. I'm pretty sure when disconnected it cuts out the compressor.

Or,just unplug the compressor at the compressor.

No, I still want the A/C when it gets hot. Sometimes all you need is some air (dry or not) blowing on the windshield. I don't know why it bothers me, it just does lol!
