I bought an 87 iroc last fall and have been slowly tidying up parts and pieces. It had an old alarm system with valet switch that I removed due to it being dated and no remotes available. I noticed this week that a black box was zip tied above the gas pedal. The box wiring lead to the window switches in the center counsel. The box is labeled VOXBELL LINEA ALLARMI made in Italy. Its not tied into any power but when unplugged the power windows don't work. Im assuming I can unplug it and just plug the window switches back in the way they are supposed to be... Anyone ever run across something like this? Its a 2 owner car with 58k on it.

 

I just Goggled it and all I'm getting is Voxbell Horns.I think you could just put it back the way it's supposed to be without any trouble.Everything else works with it being disconnected right??

 

Dug through it a bit more last night. It appears that the box is connected to the relay end of the window wiring. So the window switches are in the center counsel and they run through there up to under the drivers side dash. At that point the wiring is quick connected to the voxbell box. Is there only supposed to be a relay at the end of that harness? Any pics or help is appreciated.
