Deflate Lumbar 88 TA

So while I was doing some interior work the other day I accidentally inflated the driver side lumbar all the way, and it won't deflate when I press the opposite button, I can hear a noise that sounds like it's trying to deflate but it stops in less than a second. The passenger seat works just fine, and on the driver side the one that adjusts the "hug" of the seat inflates and deflates just fine. I'd prefer to not destroy the seat though.

Can you take the cover off by any chance? Even just partially? might be able to find a way to deflate it safely if you can actually get to the inflated portion itself.

I just replaced my seat upholstery in my 88 GTA, and if you pull the hose off the solenoid pack, it will let the air out and deflate. Then just put the hose back. The hose connection is under the seat, you will probably reach it without unbolting the seat, but if you have to unbolt it, it's just 4 nuts.

Thank you! I'm going to try that here in a bit, I actually almost got in a wreck because of the way I was sitting this morning.
