Just got some GTA power seats, need help.

Hi guys, I just did an interior trade with a friend of mine and his tan int. came with the GTA power seats. he didn't know fi they worked or not because when you would press the button you could hear the motor but nothing would happen. When I finished the swap I got the wiring harness from him and spliced it into my battery, I figured out that the vacumn line wasn't connected to the motor and with a quick connection vuala they worked! He wasn't to happy LOL.

Anyways my question is on the drivers side the bolsters inflat and deflate perfectly but the lower back deflates fine but when I press the inflate button all I hear is a click and that's it, the motor won't inflate.

On the passengers side both the bolsters and the lower back inflate perfectly but when you press the deflat button for either the motor does nothing.

I am trying to figure out what is up but I can't figure it out.

If anyone could tell me what it could be then I would appreciate it, thanks.

p.s. the pass. side bolster inflate more than the drivers side? why is that? And on the driver side there are three brckets by your feet, the one on the left moved the seat back and forth, the one in the middle lifts and lowers the leg support and the one on the right doesn't move? What's it for? The right bracket isn't on the pass. side either.

I had exactly this problem sometime after I installed GTA seats into my car.

I yanked the seat out and started taking the backing of the seat apart and when it was clear of seat backing etc, I pulled the hose out and blew into it, and then sucked. The back support worked perfectly and with the seat together it still works to this day.

I concluded that somehow the hose got kinked inside the seat and when I moved it around it freed up. The air pump under the driver's seat doesn't produce enough pressure to force a kink out.

Wiggle your hose and see what happens.
