Inflatable spare Question...

I have the inflatable spare option that came with my 88 formula. I had to use it the other day so I had to inflate it with the little blue bottle of compressed co2 that came with it. the question is....What do I do with the spare now that Im done with it? Can it be deflated enough to fit back in its original location behind the plastic panel in the hatch or does it go somewhere else because it cant be deflated? Not many posts on this topic so anyone with experience please share your knowledge. Thanks!

it should deflate to the original size... you can get replacement inflator bottles from gm... I chose to carry a 12v electric mini compressor...

So, it goes all the way back down to its original size so it can fit back in the little hole it came out of? I hope so cause its not gonna fit anywhere else. And the co2 bottle refill is kind of a drag too.
