Newbie question-manual mirrors '87 Firebird

Just bought a 1987 Firebird Formula in good shape. The driver's side has a **** to adjust mirror. No **** on passenger side. Is there anyway to adjust passenger side mirror? Is there anyway to download an Owner's Manual? Thanks for any help you can give.

Well you could open the window and do it manually

Everytime I found some online manual/book I can download about 3rd gens I get it ,I have a folder full of pdf manuals ,even for 4th gens but not the owner manual.I download them even if I have the paper thing they are good as a backup .I have everything except a 3rd gen Firebird owner's manaul...its probably because no one scanned it yet.

Only problem is when trying to adjust it, it wasn't moving very easily and I was afraid to break it.

If it doesnt move very easly it means its good.It was made that way so it doesn't move when you drive.

Yep stiff mirror is a good mirror.. Just alittle force and it will move. Welcome to the world of old car (man it just seems odd to call third gens old, makes me feel much older than I am)

Whats worse than stiff mirrors are loose ones. Our '87 burb has loose driver and pass side mirrors. Shut the door and the mirror moves, drive faster than 65 mph and mirror moves, hit a pot hole and yep the mirror moves

its funny we can say third gens are old yet they have pretty much everything new cars have and thanks to their aerodinamic shape they are pretty modern looking too....i mean they dont look like 30+ years old cars .
