door window motor gone?
Hi guys,
I need help

the window motor fails: https://*******/shHv
after and below a certain point, it grinds and has no force at all.
Is the motor damaged?
Do I have to buy something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Tooth-Doo...BVzbsR&vxp=mtr
or can it be repaired?
THANKS

Re: door window motor gone?
Have you removed that shield on the door & looked at the regulator while the window is moving up/down? Sounds like something could be jammed in the regulator or maybe the teeth on the gear drive.

Re: door window motor gone?
well, I dont know what the regulator is
Surely, as I said, the motor has ZERO force below a height levet, and beyond, like if some teeth are broken.
Question is: is it repairable or should I put a brand new motor?
THANKS

You will be needing a NEW window motor. Also, expect a few headaches trying to remove the three factory rivets holding the motor.
