kick panel lights
My car is a 91Z that didn't come with the front lower kick panel lights that turn on when the door is opened but i've got them out of a car from the JY and going to install them. Where is the best place to tap/splice into the lighting harness for them to work properly?

I would think off of the door jamb switch, but I don't know if they would come on when you turned the interior lights on with the headlight switch.

Re: kick panel lights
That was my thoughts exactly. I suppose I'll just have to break out my digital multi-meter and check it out this weekend. After I get them installed and working properly, I plan on doing the LED conversion throughout the interior.

Re: kick panel lights
if you tap into the courtesy light wiring than the floor lights will become active any time the dome light is active. Those wires lead behind the drivers kick panel and up the drivers side "A" pillar so they are easy to get at and in a good spot to tap the floor light wiring into.
