I just picked up a very nice but modified 84 Trans Am with 104,000 original miles. The interior is in fair shape but one of my biggest hang ups is the center console lid. It's badly broken and deformed. I've looked on most of the part sites and can't locate any of them. Not new, not repoped, not used....nothing. They did make the same lid for three years and tons of them, where are they? I can find a ton of Camaro ones but they latch at the front where trans Ams latch on the side. Someone please direct me to a decent lid somewhere

Here are some pics.It was pulled many years ago from a 1984 Bird.Someone had painted it a darker shade of tan as you can see where the paint in peeling off.Overall its in very good shape considering these lids are very hard to come by in decent condition

I found one in a junk yard a couple years ago... black... corner wasn't folded up at all... a bit dirty, which cleaned up nicely, but no wear / use marks at all...

I paid $5 and started the bidding on ebay at $5...
It sold for like $350 ?!?!?
