I bought my 15 yr old son a 87 TA and it has a digital dash and we are having issues, so are there any experts on this subject out there.

'87 305TPI/700r4 supposedly a 66k car give or take. needs TLC, didn't run when I got it. Alt. Bat. tune up and she runs a lil ruff but we are working the bugs out.

Now on to the dash. the original barely worked so I picked up a used one and the speedo readout doesn't stay on. comes on for a moment then it goes out and when the right blinker is on the whole dash pulses we replaced all the bulbs with LED's and that didn't fix the problem.

 

I know, stupid question: did you check all the fuses? That dash has 4 or 5 12 V connections going in that power different parts of it.
