Not sure about 89 but I ordered the front (from the firewall to the rear seat kick up) "grey" carpet for my '86 and got sent a lighter shade labelled "Dove Grey" Definitely not the darker grey, not dirty, grey in my car. Too much trouble to send the front piece back so eventually I'll order the back piece in Dove Grey as well.
