Gear replacement for Odometer / Tripmeter

Recently my odometer and tripmeter have stopped working in my 91 TA. It's the electronic speedometer version. My speedometer works fine though. Please try to bear with me as I only took one picture:

There were two worm wheels on the circled shaft that rotated off of the worm gear on the output shaft of the motor coming from the speedometer. These were were broken and seized. I was wondering if there was any way to remove the circled shaft to replace the gears, and if there was anyone who sold replacement gears?

This is for a 120 MPH car by the way

There's a thread here somewhere about a replacement gear for the Firebird cluster that you can order. I don't have time to find it right now, but try google.

WOW can't believe someone actually makes this!!! Has anyone verified if it works on 1990-92 Camaros? My odometer and trip meter work approximately 10% of the time.

Re: Gear replacement for Odometer / Tripmeter

Thank you so much for the links Drew and sonjaab. I'm still not seeing much in the thread though about actually replacing it. Do I have to break off that rod to get the gear back in?

You need to read the thread about fixing the Firebird cluster. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/inte...roken-but.html

I wouldn't count on the gear I linked above fitting a Camaro.
