New set of seat covers from Princess - Lethal Interiors

Hi, I have a new set of leather covers for my red 87 Formula from Princess.

I cannot praise this lady enough, her work is nothing short of outstanding.
Her attention to detail is fantastic. I put on one cover on the back of the back seat to see how difficult it would be and I have to say, it was easy. I used a slippery film called Whisper film and it let the cover slide down fairly easy, remember, I say fairly, there is work involved. I also used a steamer to soften up the leather.

There was nothing wrong with my interior, I just wanted to change from stock to leather. When I am finished installing the leather covers, I will have a mint set of covers to sell. The car only has 13k miles on it. My interior is YR1 front and YS1 rear.

Princess' web site is http://www.lethalinteriors.com/

Louis

I love my covers she did. Post some more pics when you get them all on. Not too bad at all to put on. Once I ground down the tips of my cheap hog ring pliers it was a breeze.

Hi, its been a breeze so far installing the covers. I am really enjoying the challenge. I will post more photos when I complete the front, which will be in a while, car is in storage and I cannot get at it.

What's the general price range for that package? I wanted to do something very similar.

I've wondered this also. I love the work, but I'd hate to waste her time if it's outside my price range.

Re: New set of seat covers from Princess - Lethal Interiors

I asked about a couple things... these are all leather / there might be other options based on color... I would like to do all black genuine for 98 - 02 seats (non split)

Faux Leather: $700 single color, $750 two colors
Genuine Leather: $900 single color, $1000 two colors

Emblems: $20 per (I don't know if this was for the specific ones I asked for, I asked for the 3rd gen range RS symbol on headrests and "chevy emblem" from the front bumper on the middle of the rear seats).
Shipping would be anywhere from $38 - $60 in the US depending on range from Florida.

She also makes sure / double checks things are exactly how you want them (so you are completely satisfied with the results).

That pricing is more or less in line with what I figured it would be.

Faux leather is pretty good these days, isn't it? I wonder if the extra cash for real leather is worth it in the long run (for anything other than prestige).

It depends on how many people are on the list in front of you. She is great on emailing you on the progress. Think mine took about a month but I had people in front of me.
