How do I find which model camaro or firebird my seats came out of? I bought a pair of buckets that were supposed to come from a 1983, but I think they are newer. I can't find any other pictures of third gen seats that look like these. I want to find new covers for them but not sure what to look for.

Re: seat identification
Plastic is pretty filthy, but that's part of the project. What throws me is the seat belt guides, the recline "memory" lever and the lumbar adjust on the driver's seat. I don't have it pictured, but there is also a release on the passenger seat, near the left shoulder area on the side of the seat to let the driver flip the passenger seat forward (I guess). Heck, they may be out of some mini van for all I know.
Thanks in advance-

This is the lumbar adjustment on the driver's seat. Passenger seat does not have one.

Can't find this style seat belt guide anywhere.

Double post adjustable headrest, instead of the usual single post in the middle.

Re: seat identification
Those are definitely not thirdgen seats. For that matter they may not even be GM seats. At least not from the 80's.

Re: seat identification
I will widen my search I guess. I bought them to go in a jeep wrangler I'm re-doing. If I could just figure out what they came out of, I could get some new covers... maybe.
Don't want that "fits most seats" stuff!

Thanks-

Re: seat identification
I would guess a late 90's-early 00's truck or van
