Hi guys I have come across a third gen T/A ... ive exchanged it for a quad that i didnt use anymore ... anyhow .. that car has weird console that me and my dad have never see before .. could someone tell me about it ive googled it but no luck
My car is a trans am tho ... and no its from a Sunfire 2 doors ... i am the one that installed it yesterday... passenger seat goes in today if time allows ...
cavaliers and sunfires are the same car just different body which is why tealman92 said its from a cavalier. the seats from either a cavalier or sunfire of those years would work just like how a camaro or firebird center console will work in either car from 82-92.
Hey im not that dumb i know they are the same car... i just specified it was from sunfire not cavalier .. and i dont care much if its a camaro console i just wanted to know a bit about it since ive never seen one .. yes all i have for heater is that switch behind it ... doesnt really mater since im not using it .. bypassed the leaking heater core already.. thanks for the info guys much appreciated ...
Imagine the horror, discovering your new T/A has been Trans-Maro'd. How unceremoniously we break the news...
Now it's just a matter of finding a 82-84 Firebird console and changing it back.
lol yeah i dont know if im gonna .. maybe when i put in more work in the interior .. more focusing on the mechanical aspect for now .. making sure it runs nice
My Camaro was a real Frankenstein when I bought it for $500.00 and pulled it from some guys back yard.
"Pick N Pull" has been really good to me and most of the interior and panels have come from there including the hatch.
That's where you will find replacement parts at a decent price if you have one near by.
Good luck with your project and try to have fun with it.
They can be a lot of work,I know but no matter what problems come up we seem to persevere.
