Anyone ever painted their dash?

I just finished painting my interior plastics with the SEM color coat stuff and they turned out fantastic. Wondering if anyone has ever used it or anything like it on the dash pad? There's a good un-cracked one for sale not far from me but it looks dull and blemished. Thinking it would look good with a coat of satin black color coat..?

I'd think it would cause glare, even satin. But depending on the part of WA you're in, you may not even see the sun for 10 months so it may not matter.

I repainted mine with SEM color coat using the color Landau black. It was faded and not as dark as it was supposed to be. It turned out great and that color is a perfect match to the original sheen, so it does not cause any added glare.

HaHa, that's funny but I left the rainy side of the state 11 years ago..I picked it up for $200 on Saturday and it's much better than it looked in the pictures. I will give it a good cleaning and see where I'm at..
