How do you install a seatbelt guide?

Does anyone have any secrets on how to install a seatbelt guide. How do you get the seatbelt through the guide?

I've been looking around on here and YouTube and can't find anything for 82-92 Camaro seat belt guide replacement. Is it a pain?

Re: How do you install a seatbelt guide?

Depends on the year. On your 91, they were installed on the seatbelts before they were assembled. The only way to remove them is to cut the belt or the guide. Replacement guides for later thirdgens have a slice between the two screws, and an extra spacer piece with 'ears' to keep the top and bottom half of the guide aligned.

Earlier years have one exposed screw, when it's removed the outer part of the guide can be moved aside to remove the second screw. Then the guide can be slipped off the belt.

Hmm, I was hoping for a magical fix I guess. Should've known, it's never easy. I just bought some replacements on Ebay so if I can split those between the screws that might be a solution. Can't hurt I guess.
