4th Gen power seat wiring

Wiring has never been my best skill. I need some help for a dummy on this.
I have the add a fuse set up to get my power. I understand that end, however I need help at the seat wiring.

1. Is black hot or ground?

2. What do I attach the ground wire to?

Black is almost always ground, any (sheet)metal is an ideal ground.Best if paint is removed for optimal conductivity.

This is how I wired my seats. Post #309,

If you pull the carpet back you will find there is a wire grounded to the body under the driver seat. I used that same ground screw for my power seats.
