Steering column swap

I started to work on 88 formula that's a factory 350 ws6 car. Steering wheel has been jacked up. I have a column out of a 86z28 I can put in if it would work with no issues

Re: Steering column swap

Should work since neither of those years have VATS. Just make sure the two cars have the same wiper/cruise options.

some members say that firebird and Camaro harness are totally different in electronics forum. I know birds got alot of stuff camaro don't have. This formula isn't fancy though. Cruise control is it. I'm not going to hook that up. I disconnected the Cruise if the car has been jacked with.

What makes you think the 1988 model year doesn't have VATS? I had two 1988 GTAs that had it.
