Looking for a set of front beechwood leather seats for my 91 gta. As much as I love the duct tape holding them together I think it's a time for an upgrade, and I don't want to spend the huge money on the Hawks covers when I also need foam/plastics/rails.

Yep but the guys in my area seem to be pretty crooked. 1500 range just to have the material redone, nevermind the rest of the seat

 

I've looked into it....that sounds about right. I was quoted $1500 to $2000 for turnkey vinyl beechwood in the OE pattern, new foam, etc. etc.

....The leather katzkin kits that Hawk's sells are cheaper, but don't include foam or labor, AND.....can be hit or miss as to fitment. For every perfect fitting set, there's a set that fits all loose and looks cheap.

 

I've scored an immaculate set of cloth ones from an 80km parts gta, but with my door panels being leather, I want to stick to original. It's just tough to stomach 2000 for just two front seats.

 

Aftermarket seats with nice vinyl for around 200 to 300 a pair. Or you could take a road trip to Mexico.

 

Mexico is a hell of a drive from Canada especially considering I wouldn't trust my car to go further than 5km from my house
