firebird ac vents
Anyone sell the vents that are on the right of the cluster on a firebird? I only need one vent as the little adjuster arm broke off one of the shutter slats... Surely this is a somewhat universal part GM used on a bunch of vehicles. Seems the use part sellers want to sell the entire piece with the vents which if it comes to that so be it but would rather just buy a vent.
Re: firebird ac vents
Universal in the sense of 85-92 Firebird, probably. Beyond that, probably not.
I was thinking I had a less than desirable bezel that might have good vents, but I see now from the pics it's vents are hosed too. LOL

Maybe try the classifieds, or just buy a bezel. No one selling a bezel that is otherwise OK is going to separate a vent, because then they'd be trying to sell a bezel missing a vent. Sometimes you have to buy an entire part for a small piece, or a pair of parts for a single piece, or a parts car for a single piece.

Re: firebird ac vents
I'm hoping to find a NOS or a reproduction vent. I may just try plastic welding it... its not like I move the vent often so no one knows its broken but me...
But I have new door sills, a new dash pad etc so was thinking I would do the vent while I had it apart...

OUTLET, CTR AIR 10030316
There's the part number for the NOS search.
Plastic welding is overkill. As delicate as they are, super glue or hot glue is probably stronger than the base plastic.
