Single and Double Cup holder

Here is the link for a double cupholder I made. It is big as I could get it. The only cutting required is to separate the ash try from the shifter plate.

Here is a link for a single side cup holder I made with no modifications.

Re: Single and Double Cup holder

See all the stains on the floor next to the console? That's why thirdgens don't have cup holders.

Novel solution to the problem, and I suppose that having a cup holder might keep from creating additional stains, but in a perfect world the solution would be to not eat/drink in the car.

Re: Single and Double Cup holder

I would feel nervous as hell with drinks that close to the radio.

Re: Single and Double Cup holder

GREAT idea,........ Looks pretty good !

If those holes are large enough to hold a plastic bottle ( has a CAP ! ) it's even better still. If not,..... I'd try to enlarge the hole a bit so it holds a soda bottle. As these guys point out - the proximity to the audio gear is a drawback ---> and why I prefer no-mod, bolt-on, side-mounted cup holder over the duel holder design.

Re: Single and Double Cup holder

That side mount is a great idea. And your double is the nicest I've seen yet.
Would you be interested in a project? I was wanting to use these Autometer angle rings to mount 2 (or 3 if they will fit), 2-5/8" gauges in that ashtray spot and rotated to face the driver. https://www.autometer.com/2-5-8-angl...pack-of-3.html
