Does anyone have a pic or the actual part that the door striker screws into? The striker goes through the door jamb and there is a piece with threads in in that fits on the inside of the jamb that it screws into. Mine seem to have taken a walk.

 

No pic, but its a square chunk of steel w/ the threads in the center, about sq.1.5" . Also it has a tendency to fall below the hole on the jamb, because the metal bracket that holds it from falling to the bottom is rather oversize for the threaded chunk.Fiddle around with your fingers just below the hole,you may feel it there.I usually remove the plastic vent above it to reach down and hold it in place while i get the striker started on the threads.
