I am trying to install a new MAF sensor in my 1987 GTA. I removed the air filter box and the plastic intake. So the only thing left is the air intake side of the MAF sensor. I can not figure out for the life of me whats holding it on. Looks like black/greenish ring? The MAF is just a round end with no lip it's very confusing and I don't want to force and break something. Any ideas on how I get the MAF sensor off?

 

That’s a clamp ring holding it on.Try to spin it and get access where the 2 sides attach.Might be a bit tough to remove
