i have a 89 bird, with the door panels with the map pockets, beechwood color.
i purchased a pair of speaker door pods from one of our fine members here a while back, but have as of yet to install them.
im going to remove the pockets, and install the pods, and use a shallow mount 6,5 speaker, so i wont have to cut a large hole in the panel.(thus the pocket can be reinstalled later if wanted, and will cover the screw holes .
i am still up in the air as to finish the panel, the cloth on the panel is okay, but wondering if others have reclothed them in something different.
if i leave the cloth, i have some dye that i could cover the pods with.
if i cover the pods with fabric, i would be inclined to do the panel as well.
im looking for suggestions, and ideas anyone has done,
im sure some of you have some nice interiors to share,
