Fixing the console lid for good

Wanted to share a fix i did on my console lid which was starting to peel off from its backing plastic. I know this is a common question and although glueing it back might have worked I decided to go for a more permanent solution.

I cut out some sheet metal, formed it around the plastic tabs giving them some support when putting in the screws. I even removed two of them holding one of the hinges as they were completely bust. Filled the space with JB Weld, drilled them and the hinges screwed back better then ever before.

Results attached.
