Are you gonna rewire for the NSS switch? Wont it rock when its hooked up to the cables? When i connected the shifter/ column cables the shifting got much firmer. Id cut those tall bolts down some.
Looking forward to the finished product.

The nss is definitely next. The way i have it bolted thru it won't rock. I have washers and lockwashers underneath and on top. But to be 💯 it's an experimental thing. I'm hoping it works out perfect...and I feel u on cutting those bolts down some. The cable I'm still trying to figure out. May have to buy an adjustable one so I won't have a problem. I went to the junkyard to try to find a shift cable with the one I found didn't come close.

You may need a cable from whatever old muscle car that shifter is from. The height of the base from the tunnel is where i feel it could be an issue. With the gap under the base i keep thinking it will rock as you shift into gear. Hopefully not though.
