shifter+ **** selection
wadda think, in a few weeks i plan i getting the pro 5.0 shifter and black hurst pistol grip, any opinions, i know the shifter is top knotch, but anybody dislike the shifter grip?
I have the Hurst pistol-grip. I love it. You can really only grip it one way. I do ocassionally do the two finger pull from from the top to get from first to second.

I used a "tall" B&M version. Personally, I didn't like the feel of it at all--just seemed to stick up too high. But that's me. I finally went with the B&M Hammer which is a direct replacement, at least for the B&M short throw.

I forgot to mention that I bought the "short stick" for the fourth gen Hurst shifter and put it on my third-gen Hurst. From there I had to use the shifter handle for a fourth gen (stock third gen ***** don't fit on mine). I was worried about the handle standing up too high also. It's not stubby, but it's not excessively high either.
